Terms of Use

Last updated: October 17, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Curious People app and website. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The app

Curious People offers short, illustrated topics you can read or listen to, and lets you ask the app to create new topics. Reading and listening are free. We may add paid features in the future; if we do, we will tell you the price before you pay anything.

Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google. You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from the You tab (Delete account), which removes your profile and progress.

About the content

Topics are researched and written with the help of AI and checked against sources, but they can still contain mistakes. They are for general learning and curiosity only, and are not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. If something looks wrong, please report it from the topic's menu (⋯) or write to us.

Topics you create

When you use Create, you ask a question and we make a topic from it. Topics that pass our checks may be shown to other people, without your name. Please don't ask for anything illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, harassing, or that targets a real private person. We may refuse requests, remove topics, and limit or close accounts that break these rules. There is a daily limit on how many topics you can create.

Reporting

Every topic has a Report option in its menu (⋯). Reported topics are hidden for you right away and reviewed by us; topics created by people are taken out of the shared feed when they're reported. We aim to act on reports within 24 hours.

Things you shouldn't do

Ownership

The app, its topics, illustrations and narration belong to Curious People. You may read, listen to and share links to them for personal use.

Changes and availability

We keep improving the app and may change or stop features. We may update these terms; if the changes are significant we'll let you know in the app. The app is provided "as is", without warranties, and to the extent the law allows we aren't liable for indirect losses from using it.
